Argus IT Services stands behind every item it sells. We take great care when describing our items and you can expect to receive the item in the same condition as it was described. If an issue should arise, we will work with you to resolve that issue. Due to the widely diverse types of items we receive, we sometimes cannot provide complete descriptions or conduct full testing. Therefore, we offer several types of Limited Warranties based on the amount of knowledge we have regarding the item, and how much testing we were able to conduct. The following section details the basic principles which apply to our eBay Sales, and then defines the four specific types of warranties.
Policies that apply to ALL Sales

Receipt of equipment
- As appropriate, items will include a Packing List. It is the Buyer's responsibility to inspect the items received against the packing slip and notify us via the eBay messaging system regarding any discrepancies within twenty four (24) hours of receiving the item.

Claims for items damaged in shipping
- If an item arrives with visible damage from the shipping process, it is the responsibility of the Buyer to notify us via the eBay messaging system immediately. Claims for shipping damage can only be processed for items that have 1) visible damage to the box, and 2) was reported immediately upon receipt of item. Plus, all items must be returned to us - including, and most importantly, the damaged box. We can submit a claim and provide refunds based on 1) the finding of the shippers? investigation and 2) the insurance options provided during shipment.

Requests for Returns and Exchanges
- No item can be returned without first receiving authorization, in writing. We will review each case based on the details of the listing and will provide an RMA (return merchandize authorization) Code as warranted. Any item returned without an RMA Code will be held by us without action until the Buyer can provide for processing. All communication regarding the return of an item must be completed through the eBay messaging system - this helps provide for third party arbitration in the event of a disagreement.

Misuse | Accidental Damage | Tampering of items
- None of the Warranties cover misuse and/or accidental damage due to negligence, improper installation or improper operation of the item. Any tampering, altering, upgrading, (etc.) of the equipment sold by Argus IT Services will void our Warranty. Items used in, or tested for, countries other than what the item was offered in, constitutes misuse and voids our Warranty. In some cases, to protect both you, the Buyer, and Argus IT Services, the seller, we utilize 'Warranty Voided' stickers and detailed photographs to prevent unauthorized access to individual components.

Transference of Warranty
- Argus IT Services only offers its warranties to the direct Buyer of the item. Warranties for items sold by Argus IT Services cannot be transferred to any other individual or entity. If you purchase an item from us with the intention to re-sell, or give away as a gift, the warranty ends immediately upon transfer of item.

Cost of returning an item
- It should be noted that it is the responsibility of the Buyer to provide for and pay all return shipping costs.

Processing of Warranty Refunds and Exchanges
- In order to qualify for a refund or an exchange, the Buyer must ensure that the item is properly returned to our facilities no later than forty five (45) days from the date of Purchase. All items included in the sale must be returned in the same condition as they arrived in. Please read the details regarding the specific warranty offered to understand specific deadlines and to ensure proper processing. We will refund your purchase price, including original shipping fees, or provide for acceptable repairs and/or replacements within thirty (30) days of receipt of item at our facility.

Technical Support and Item Compatibility
- Argus IT Services does not offer technical support for any of the products it sells. It is the responsibility of the Buyer to find technical support, purchase manuals and research products and solutions to ensure compatibility with their systems. Argus IT Services does not provide any type of guarantee, or warranty, for any software components that may be present on an item, or needs to be installed on an item. This includes, but is not limited to: Operating Systems, device drivers, User Guides, management utilities, BIOS or Firmware, EPROM programming and Internet access. Argus IT Services does not offer any support with activating Microsoft programs or Operating Systems.
Specific Warranty Details

Guaranteed no DOA
- Items sold 'Guaranteed no DOA', (dead on arrival) are guaranteed to complete proper power up processing with no errors upon Buyer's receipt of item. Claims for items arriving 'DOA' must be submitted to us through the eBay messaging system within forty eight (48) hours of receipt of item. An item cannot be considered 'DOA' if the Buyer fails to test the item prior to this dead line.

Seven (7) day Limited Warranty
- Items sold with the 'Seven day Limited Warranty' covers items that arrive 'DOA', or equipment that fails to perform as described within seven (7) days of receipt of item. Please read the description carefully to understand what components are covered under the warranty. Requests for returns for items with the Seven day Limited Warranty must be submitted through the eBay messaging systems within seven (7) days of receipt of item.

Thirty (30) day Limited Warranty
- Items sold with the 'Thirty day Limited Warranty' covers items that arrive 'DOA', or equipment that fails to perform as described within thirty (30) days of receipt of item. Please read the description carefully to understand what components are covered under the warranty. Requests for returns for items with the Thirty day Limited Warranty must be submitted through the eBay messaging systems within Thirty (30) days of receipt of item.
Shipping Policies

All items ship within Three (3) business days after payment has been confirmed.

All items ship via either Ground Service or Freight. Ground Service items usually take three (3) to eight (8) days for delivery. Freight items usually take two (2) to five (5) days for delivery.

Transit times do not include Saturdays, Sundays or holidays.

We automatically ship to PayPal verified addresses. If PayPal cannot verify your address, we will send you a 'Shipping Address Verification' email requesting you to confirm shipment to the address listed at checkout.

We cannot ship to PO Box addresses.

Shipments to Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico may require additional shipping fees. Please contact us before committing purchase.

Argus IT Services cannot be held responsible for delays in shipment caused by the shipper, Customs processing, or any part of the exportation / importation process.

Items offered for 'Local Pickup' require that the Buyer make a special appointment to pick up the item - Usually Saturdays. Send in your request for Local Pickup through the eBay messaging system. Items purchased for 'Local Pickup' require that the Buyer bring in the PayPal confirmation email and requires a Photo ID.

Payments for items purchased as an Auction, or from a Best Offer, must be completed within seven (7) days from time of purchase. Please contact us if you know that final payment will be delayed and we will work with you. If we do not hear from you within 7 days, unpaid items will be sent to the resolution center.
