    Description

This listing is for an antique silver 800 to 833 (80% - 83.3% silver - sterling silver is 92.5%) figural dinner bell.    Generally, silver made in Germany in the 18th, 19th, and early 20th century was made of 80% silver.  Sometimes under 80% and sometimes more than 80%.  This very detailed piece and the workmanship is top notch.  She is 4 5/8" tall, 2 1/4" in diameter at the bottom bell part and the weight is 126.9 grams (4.08 troy ounces).  The hallmarks on the front bottom of the lady's skirt indicate this piece is from Hanau, Germany, however I was unable to attribute the marks to a specific maker.
    Very good condition for age.
No issues noted but could use a thorough polishing.   It is an antique piece of silver that was hand-made .
