    Description

    An Early 1900's ornate cast silver, antique brass, Broque style, 'Over the Cup', Tea Strainer from Italy.  The bowl strainer is brass and is surrounded by cast silver flowers.  At the top are two cherubs on either side of a basket of flowers, reaching towards a man's face.  Standing on the top of the man's head is a winged cherub holding a large fish(?).  A great piece reminiscent of the old days when there was more formal entertainment.
